MARQUETTE COUNTY -- The 8th annual Great Lakes Rodeo is coming this Friday to bring a weekend of fun at the Marquette County Fairgrounds.
The rodeo has a full lineup of events for the weekend including bronco busting, bull riding and a barn dance. More than 30 campers are signed up to attend this year's rodeo.
It's also a fundraiser for children's organizations in Marquette County.
"It is a fun activity for the whole family, and we are raising funds for Youth Development in Marquette County. We grow bigger and better each year. This is bull riding, bronco riding, barrel racing, the whole nine yards," said rodeo organizer Jessie Melchori.
Over the years, the Great Lakes Rodeo has raised more than $13,000 for local charities. For more information on the rodeo schedule,?check out the Great Lakes Rodeo website.?
