Is there football world ready for Carrie Underwood?

Well ready or not, she's coming and one thing's for sure, she knows she has BIG shoes to fill!

In a recent interview with CMT, Carrie admitted that she's excited and happy to replace Faith Hill as the Sunday Night Football theme song girl and has always wanted to do it!

"For me, to have that opportunity and to follow in [Hill's] footsteps and do something really cool like that, it sounded like fun, you know? This is something that's been a part of our household for a while now," Underwood said to CMT.

"And to be a part of that is exciting, I can't wait!"

When can you expect to see Carrie's NFL debut? It'll be September 8, when the New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys!
