WSFA reports Mayor Strange calling for 1 day furlough for all city employees

MONTGOMERY, Alabama?--?Calling it a ?regrettable decision,? Mayor Todd Strange told WSFA 12 News earlier today that he is ordering all city employees to take one full day furlough between Monday and the end of February.

Strange said this move necessary to protect the city?s budget even though the revenue is up $2.5 million from the same time last year.
