Review
We had an extra day of tot school this week so we spent Monday reviewing and finishing up some of the body themed activities from last week.?
The girls worked on a couple pages of their All About Me book that we didn't get to last week. They looked in a mirror and selected a colored pencil to match their eyes.?
?We also redid our " I Have Ten Little Fingers" page using nail polish since it was such a hit with their collages last week. If you have little girls and want to engage them in a good fine motor skill activity, look no further than peel off nail polish!
We practiced reciting our "I Have 10 Little Fingers" poem from last week.
Letter of the Week : L
I dumped a pile of stamps on the table and asked the girls to each find one that started with the letter L. They both found leaves and stamped them all over their letter L worksheet.?

Literature
We read In a People House and did a little sight word?scavenger?hunt to go along with the story. For each page I chose two words to write on sticky notes and had the girls running around the house labeling items as we came across them in the book. Lots of fun!

Baby Play
The little ones had fun exploring the collection of items that I put together for our family treasure box. I forgot to take a picture of everything in the box, but we ended up with Daddy's Belt, Daddy's baseball cap, Mommy's Apron, Mommy's hair brush, Sister's headband, Sister's Monkey hat, Baby's paci, and Baby's bib.?
All of the kiddos enjoyed playing with this balloon that hubby and I got for our anniversary. I tied it down low especially for M and she really got a kick out of watching and batting at the shiny foil!
Dramatic Play
With a 2 and a 3 year old, pretend play is quite a popular activity in this house. Here they are in their disguises, hiding from the big bad wolf in their fortress, and dialing 911 to come take care of our terrible wolf problem. I love their imaginations :)
Arts and Crafts
The girls made this cute little house craft to go along with A People House.?They decorated paper bags with markers and construction paper shapes, then we stuffed them with grocery sacs, taped them closed and?attached?the roof.
?For a fun little sibling craft, the older girls painted their baby brother's and sister's feet to make these cute little foot prints. Everyone loved it. The older ones thought it was soooo funny to be painting the babies and the little ones liked the feeling of the paint on their feet!
The girls's, especially J, enjoyed painting these nice little picture frames to display a family photo in. They were so proud of their work!
Snack
for a fun theme related snack, I made the girls these little cracker houses one day. Whipped cream cheese was perfect for holding things in place.
