Massive Marijuana Grow Uncovered In Washington County (KUTV) Police in Washington County have uncovered a massive marijuana grow.Officials say they have been watching the grow operation for a while and believe that it has been abandoned.
Sheriff?s escorted media on a 5-mile hike to the site Friday - which had been secured by SWAT Teams earlier in the day.
The sheriff said that plants at the grow could be as high as 12-feet tall and are ready to be harvested. Water had also been piped into the grow from as far as two miles away.
Officials are now trying to figure out why the growers walked away from the grow site.
2News has a crew hiking to the scene and will have updates as they become available.
